Ok, let's talk about Hartz real quick so i can get this off my chest since it's bugged me for about a year now. bellow is the Hartz 3 in 1 collar, this is the first of 2 products from Hartz that doesn't work as advertised.
First off, this product straight up just doesn't work. It will NOT keep fleas off your pet. You may not have even seen it in a reputable pet store as of late, i know it was hard to find when i went looking for it a little over a year ago. It did not keep Fleas off my pet, after i had rid him of fleas, bathed him and did everything by the book, he still got fleas as an indoor cat.
How? good question, best i can figure it was because the fleas were already in the apartment, and in the carpet from the tenant before me. Now weather or not the scumbag slum lord asshole i was renting from knew the tenant had a dog, or two living in the apartment up until 5 days before i moved in could be debated. And as many San Diego residents will tell you, the weather is nice pretty much year round, so fleas and other incests can survive allot longer down south then someplaces in the United States.
Now I guess I could have gotten a bad collar, so for shits and giggles i had bought a second collar not too long ago and tried that, from a different store, then 6 months after i realized the first one didn't work, and it didn't ether.
Don't be fooled by this product, go ahead and try one of the many flea products you apply monthly to the back of the neck, that the vet will be more then happy to sell you. Also, I was told by a vet just today, that using this flea collar in conjunction with the once a month stuff "COULD" make your pet sick. so don't double them up.
Next time, I'll fill you in on the most deadly product i've found Hartz has on the market... and before anyone screams slander, i'm ready to go on a lie detector at anytime, anyplace and against anybody at Hartz that has working knowledge of their cat products with my claims. if Hartz want to dispute me, COOL, I DARE any of the Hartz CEO's and chemist to take the lie detector challenge with me, but we do it in bare feet and boxer shorts, cuz i've got nothing to hide, and they do.
i want there to be "no question" on who's telling the truth. test studies and all kinds of other forms of so called "proof" can be faked, and we all know it. Hartz doesn't give 2 shits about you or your pets, they only care about the bottom line and your money.
